So much to report

With such a wonderful month behind us, where do we start?

On June 10th Pawo met with Joan Diamond and Jaden Cornelious for a press meeting at the Queens theatre in Barnstaple England. This was a perfect place to meet as the children from our Bideford drama company had been invited for a second time to see how the theatre works.

They had a wonderful time back stage and as always it was wonderful to see them. They are a fantastic bunch of young people, always keen and always ready for some fun. We send them congratulations for being asked to perform at the Landmark theatre again this year as part of the North Devon festival.

Last year they performed their play Fwog Pwince and this year they will be the backing singers to Jaden Cornelious as together they sing the Gesar world Anthem for children Wish Fulfilling Tree.

This is for Gesar an historic event as it is our intention to see the children's Anthem performed not only in schools and where children gather but also in all the major venues throughout the world.

Our Gesar children from Bideford are a first and they go down in history as leaders. Thank you Joan. Without exception the Anthem 'Wish Fulfilling Tree' belongs to all the world's children and if we truly wish the very best for them and for the future of all beings then we will encourage them to follow the grand example set set by these fine young people of North Devon England.

Below is a picture of several of the Gesar Bideford drama company and somewhere in the middle is their lead singer Jaden Cornelious.

It's such a privilage to know these young people. It truly is very special, so much so, that words cannot describe the joy of seeing them succeed with such confidence while retaining their humble manner. Bless them all. May countless beings benefit from their birth.

We can take this opportunity to wish Jaden every success with his planned trip to Australia. He is leaving as soon as it is possible. Their are of course things we must organise for him at the other end. The sole reson for Jaden's trip is to oversee the recording of Wish Fulfilling Tree by Aboriginal boys and girls.

This is an outstanding asperation on Jaden's part. He is in my view one of the people of our age. His willingness and courage to help others goes beyond thoughts of his personal needs and well being. To us at Gesar he truly is a children's hero. Also we give Jaden our support in his efforts to support Olivia Newton John in her bid to find a cure for Breast cancer.

We thank Joan Diamond the introduction to Jaden. Joan has a habit of living up to her name bless her. But knowing Jaden has meant so much to. I hope to him in future record Wish Fulfilling Tree with Olivia so between them they bring some relief to the children who lose their dear mothers and some of them so very very young. How can we possibly know what they suffer inside and in silence?

Thank you again Jaden, it's an honour to know you.

Below is a very special picture. Along with Pawo and Jaden Cornelious we see young Lauren who sings a whole verse of the children's Anthem as a solo artist.

Below is a picture of Pawo with Jaden again and Athos who is the founder of the canplay organisation that assist Gesar so very much in Devon England. Athos is recording a Samba version of Wish Fulfilling Tree to support the great humanitarian Divaldo Franco in his work in Brazil. Jaden of course supports Athos in his work in England. How wonderful to see great men helping each other to help the young across the world.

Time for some Dodgy Dread fun

After leaving Barnstaple, it was time to go to Cornwall in the search for our anonymous reggae star Dodgy Dread. We had a few individuals claiming to be the great rasta man and here are a few of the claimants. What do you think? Thats the question. Who is Dodgy Dread?

Is Dodgy our Australian friends pictured below?

Or our Irish friend and renowned busker?

Or maybe our four legged friend below is an applicant.

I felt strongly that the chap below was a real possibility but as I held on for a photograph I discovered that we had another Australian, though this one was nearly seven feet tall.

Their is little doubt that the most popular figure currently floating around the West Country at present is the illusive Mr Dread. Some say they have seen him with his sister Dodgita but these claims we believe to be mere rumour.

Dodgy recorded the Gesar World Anthem Wishc Fulfilling Tree to benefit the children of the Caribbean. To this day he has remained anonymous and though we wish to respect his feelings it is very difficult to resist having fun with the whole situation.

Dodgy Dread, whoever you are. You now have a smoothy named after you and also a pizza. A message has already been sent to Ainsley Harriot asking for his ideas on a Dodgy Pie. If you see this Ainsley contact us and help us distribute the Money raised by Dodgy's music where it is most needed.

Below is a picture of Minnie's Juice Bar in Bank Street Newquay where Dodgy Dread smoothies are available.

Join the Dodgy Dread fun on facebook by making Dodgy a friend. We can ask him many questions and eventually we may discover who he is.

Forgive us Dodgy for seeking you but the fun and friendship you have inspired has been a wonderful experience to witness. We wish you every success and good fortune and look forward to your next release and of course your Christmas special. Bless you Mr Dread, from all of us at Gesar.

After a spell in Cornwall it was time to go to the Quality of life animal Sanctuary where we were to have a mini Gesar gathering during which we would give a special welcome to Lozen Brown Bear.

But before all else, lets welcome the sanctuaries latest arrival.

Pictured below is our new foul. She was born to one of the mares rescued from the horse meat trade. How terrible to be of a mind to butcher a living being, let alone a mare in foul. But both are safe now and very happy. Beautiful isn't she?

Lozen Brown Bear is a native Apache Indian who is very excited to be recording Wish Fulfilling Tree for the benefit of the children on the resevations of the USA.

Inspired by the principles of Gesar and with the Gesar Foundation as her friend, she is in the process of forming The Lozen Brown Bear Foundation for native Indian children.

It is intended for the world headquarters for the new Foundation to be set at Gesar House, to be built as part of the complex of very useful buildings on our ground at the Quality Of Life Animal sanctuary, which is set in the most beautiful scenery of North Devon England.

Below is a picture of Pawo with Lozen Brown Bear and her partner Andy Boulton. In the back ground we see the location of where eventually their will be several Tee Pees that will be used to display native culture to children.

Below is a picture of Andy and Alf with two of the many horses that roam free across many acres at the Sanctuary. The lake in the background will be used by those children who make, under expert guidance, the native canoes for children's activity clubs across the world. These canoes will definately see a rise in club numbers.

Below Lozen Brown Bear talks to one of the horses living at the sanctuary. This one reminds her of home.

While everybody wanders, Talks and discusses points, Pawo sits for a rest, enjoying his bag of peanuts.

Little did Pawo realise that Dodgy Dread was about to drive off in the tractor.

While Alex was busy with the horses

and others were busy discussing the proposed devevelopment of the land with the architects.

Great fun was had by all on a day we can certainly celebrate. It was wonderful to have so many Gesar friends around to meet and chatter.

Below are three of our Anthem boys. Mark Emmis, Jay Jerome and Jaden Cornelious. Two have recorded Wish Fulfilling Tree for the benefit of the worlds children with Jay's very much in the pipe-line.

How happy they are to meet with each other for the first time, their joy is obvious. All have joined Rima Chai and are great Gesar ambassadors.

They have all done a wonderful job, with Jaden soon off to Australia to organise our Aborigal version and Mark being haled as a rock here.

Oooops! Is that Dodgy Dread whispering in the ear of Pawo? Maybe Pawo does know of Dodgy's identity.

Wish Fulfilling Tree is doing very well and though we have sought no publicity we can mention great successes. At the outset of the Gesar Foundation, Pawo stated that during his lifetime, every child in the world would find sanctuary under the Gesar flag.

Many of us would consider this aim daunting to say the least but Pawo always believed that the power of friendship and the use of technology will see us through.

It has been friendship that has caused Wish Fulfilling Tree to be such a success.  Three new charitable Foundations have materialised as a direct result of the Anthem being born.

Is it not wonderful to know that the Gesar Foundation of the world, the Tambora Foundation of Colombia and the Lozen Brown Bear Foundation of the USA and Canada, along with Quality of life for Animals are sharing their friendship with others and making further links daily.

There is a lot of communicating to do but then we can say their is nothing to do at all, just display friendship.

Pawo would like to thank the Chan Buddhist society, who very kindly invited him to be their patron. Pawo is humbled by this and recognises it as a further opportunity for friendship and therefore world harmony that will set a further example to all beings that aggression is a display of our weekness and not of our strength.

Thank you for your friendship, Chan and Gesar will blend without a ripple.

                      The Ch'an Forum.

I will write again soon.

May the whole world be blessed with happiness and prosperity.

Thank you to everybody who has contributed to our success on behalf of the children. May all living beings nenefit as a result.

Pawo.
