A mammoth month

Hello to all our friends. It is not easy to find a starting point this month, so I suggest we start with the pending auction and the pier project.

Hello to all our friends. This month has been a mammoth month in our history and one of great inspiration on many fronts. All our news is main news hahahahaha !!! But just take a look on what we report this month. It really is fantastic to see the response we receive from our friends.

The Gesar Foundation encourage young humanitarians to develop their asperations to assist others in which ever way they can across the globe. It  our policy to encourage those who have their own ideas and projects to set sail and to get started. This policy has seen the development of fresh, selfless attempts to bring happiness to the world and its inhabitants. In this news letter I shall tell of

The logo below was designed by young Michael Pewsey who has done much work voluntarily for Gesar. This beautiful descriptive logo serves the children of Romania through the efforts of Paul and Jacky Stone and their co founder Carina Cattermoll. All three mentioned are Gesar ambassadors and have now formed their own organisation

Below we see the logo of ALALA, a charity formed by another Gesar ambassador Christine Le Nahedic. ALALA serves children caught in areas hit by disaster. Christine is a wonderful person and has taken Ingo, our Gesar clown, with her as a trustee. ALALA is set to support Ingo in her orphanage in Zimbabwe. Christine has just returned from India where she is to build a sustainable orphanage for forty children who lost parents and family during the recent Tsunami. Bless you Christine, it is an honour to know you and all our friends wish you every success in your endeavours for these children.

The logo below belongs to our dear friends in Sri Lanka. This charity,  SRI KETTARAMA SOCIAL WELFARE FOUNDATION was formed by our Gesar ambassador Rew. Meewellawe Dharmmaananda Thero in SRI KETTARAMA ANCIENT TEMPLE,SRI KETTARAMA. Meewellawe has invited Pawo to visit the project in Sri Lanka next year that gives education, shelter and basic needs to children who survived the Tsunami. Meewellawe, it is an honour to know you and all our friends wish you every success in your endeavours for these children.

The Gesar Foundation still seek musicians to record The World Anthem for children Wish Fulfilling Tree. The versions still continue to build though we always look for more and we must not sit on our hands when there is music to be produced and children to serve. We would like thousands of versions so come on all you fine girls and boys, lets make a special effort for Christmas.

Below we see young Finley. Finley is ten years old and is set to be the youngest person to record the children's Anthem when Paul Englishby produces his violin version for him. Thank you Finley, you are a fine and talented young man and an example to all those who shall follow you.

Below we see the great artist Ian KDELL. Ian recently became a Gesar ambassador and immediately recorded his version of Wish Fulfilling Tree. The pic shows Ian performing the Anthem in public when he represented Gesar at the Komedia Club in Brighton England.

Follow the link to hear Ian's version. It's fantastic. Thank you Ian, your popularoty will certainly cause Wish Fulfilling Tree to spread its fruit. http://www.gesarfoundation.org/our-projects/gesar-music-album/v/view/the-wish-fulfilling-tree-reggae-version/

The Gesar Foundation has never sought large amounts of money as it has not, up until now, been necessary. Those ambassadors who have began there own projects have raise what money they need but now this is about to change.

Through the kindness, foresight and inspiration of Magdalena Rutkowska, The Gesar Foundation are to celebrate our very first art auction at the Grand Hotel in Brighton England. Funds raised will go to support our bid for the Brighton, Palace Pier and to all those who are active in the Gesar way. We all wish to say thank you to Magdalena and our art collective for their generosity.

Below we see the Grand Hotel Brighton England. This is the venue for the first Gesar Foundation Art auction, organised by the Gesar Art Collective.

Below we see a pic of Christianne Van Wijk. Christianne is an award winning film director and has recently become the patron to the Gesar Foundation Art Collective.

Below is a photograph of the Brighton Pier. In this day and age, we have learnt as a society that we cannot necessarily depend upon the government or the financial institutions to protect the poor or the vulnerable.

The Gesar Foundation wish to purchase the Brighton pier as an on going gift to the people of Brighton, so the profits can be funnelled back into the community and all may prosper.

If you wish to contribute to our aim, then please contact one of our staff. We shall return your email same day.
