The story

How wonderful it is to receive this gift from Heather Gerber. Heather is the wife of Will Gerber who presented The Gesar Foundation with the very first version of Wish Fulfilling Tree to be recorded in the USA. This whole production from vocals to final mix is a result of the talent Heather has. How grateful the children are to have such a fine and generous friend.

The Gesar Foundation first came into contact with Will and Heather Gerber through our friendship on facebook with Heathers Mother and Father, Bonnie and Jeff Valind. This wonderful couple do so much for the needy and act as a satellite in their area for the Gesar Foundation. They reflect all that is good and healthy in society. This was the first thing that touched me about this version of the Anthem. It was the pure intent in Heather’s voice.

Thank you Will for adding backing vocals, as Heather did on your version and thank you Bonnie for adding piano. How wonderful, a family effort that is truly an example of family life. They gathered together as they often do for the benefit of all living beings. They humbly  play their part in society, not to gain an advantage but because they are good people.

Heather and her husband Will, live in a small town just outside Bluffton in Indiana. Their music  has brought them to play local venues and now they have made history.  Two of the three versions  of Wish Fulfilling Tree, recorded in America so far, have come from the same family and to mark this achievement, the Gesar Foundation have gifted the Painting Wish Fulfilling Tree to the people of Bluffton for public display, it is to show the appreciation of the world’s children, though they may not all meet with Will and Heather, they will most certainly benefit from their kindness and generosity.

We wish to thank Bob Hardy in California for recording the Anthem, it was Bob who gifted the children with the second American version.
