The Story

While in Brighton England during March 2009, Pawo met and befriended a homeless man. The two men had much in common, an interest in Dharma and music.

Pawo spoke often of Chris Edwards, his new found friend (known as the musician Fleas Fleasette) and used his story to tell others how easy it is to lose ones home. When a set of circumstances and conditions come together then we can find ourselves on the street. We must never judge but always have compassion thinking it could have been me.

Imagine how happy Pawo was, when months later he received a mail from Fleas telling of how his life had changed. That he now had a home, that he was working and his children were able to see him once more.

In this mail, Fleas sent this track 'Still Within' as a donation to the Gesar Foundation. How wonderful to know such a generous person. Congratulations to you Fleas for your kindness to others, understanding of your own life and fortitude when it was most needed.

May all those in difficult circumstances be well in intention, patient and for now content. May they always rejoice in the success and prosperity of others and in the future have the same themselves.
