The Story

Anthar kharana was introduced to Pawo and the Gesar Foundation by the Polish humanitarian Dominika Baran. Inspired by the children's Anthem 'Wish Fulfilling Tree' Anthar wrote and recorded the track Arbol de los Deseos as a gift to the world's children.

Further inspired by the aims and world wide friendships of Gesar, Anthar has formed the Tambola Foundation to assist the displaced children of Colombia. Once proud and perfectly capable of sustaining themselves in a traditional life style, the children of the forest are now fleeing their villages, chased out by loggers and warrior factions. They are now reduced to surviving as beggers on the streets of the cities.

The Tambora Foundation is to dedicate themselves to serving these children with food, shelter and education while also teaching and preserving traditional arts, music and dance.
