Wish Fulfilling Tree

The story.

Ashenenashae Dancing Firebird, started playing drum kit at the age of 11. Through tuition and great support from his parents, he formed a band at school called Centinel, then went on to other band formations in progressive rock and reggae.

In the late 80's he connected with Daevid Allen from Planet Gong and formed a band in 1989 with the Invisable Opera Company of Tibet. Playing drum kit percussion and didgeridoo.

He started getting more involved in tribal aspects of music as well as Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Groove as well as being a Rainbow drummer for Sun Dance ceremony (Deer Tribe) in the South of France and so on.

Ash met Kindra Duarte in the early 90's, then reconnected with her in September 09 to discover they had mutual interests in music.

Below we have a picture of Ash and kindra taken when about to record Wish Fulfilling Tree.

                 

Ash and Kindra have now formed 'KindrAsh' and will both be working on a new birth seed album very soon.

                                   

During September of 2009, Pawo had cause to visit Horsham in West Sussex England, a place he became familiar with during his childhood. While in Horsham he met Ashenashae Dancing Firebird and the two men spoke about the children's Anthem Wish Fulfilling Tree.

Immediately Ashenashae started on an arrangement for this global effort, and set out to record his own version. It has been a real positive experience to witness the enthusiasm of this youung man. Enlisting the help of others he wasted no time. Through his own personal experience he realised the need to act for children.

Pawo is delighted to see his friendship with Ash Firebird blossom so quickly into something so very meaningful, where others can benefit from their having met.

A further word from Ashenashae Firebird. 

Music is inspiration, music speaks all languages. I am so blessed to be a part of this commendable effort for the children of the world. It would be a modern miraculous event to see all musicans drop what they are currently working on and produce countless versions of Wish Fulfilling Tree. Lets all pray and wish with all our might that this will happen for the sake of all children, yours and mine, they are ours.
