The Story

It was a delight to meet Mark Emmins, a family man with a big heart. Our meeting took place at the Quality Of Life Animal Sanctuary where the Gesar Foundation are busy establishing our headquarters and the Gesar children's adventure park.

Mark told me of how he is a very busy musician but would find the time to record his version of the children's Anthem. Two days later the recording was ready for our web site and Pirate FM radio were playing it on air at regular intervals.

Typical of Mark and other men of a kind and generous nature, he dedicated any income from his rock version to the building of the new children's hospice in Cornwall to be named Little Harbour.

Thank you Mark, you are a great man and no wonder you have been successful. You are a fine example to our young.

A word from Mark

After my 1st meeting with Pawo, I realised just how passionate he is about his cause. I originally recorded my version of The wish fulfilling tree to help and show my appreciation to the animal sanctuary that I often visit with my wife and children, On playing this track to Pawo, and a whole host of others involved in the Gesar Foundation, I agreed that my version of this Anthem could reach more people and was more than happy to have the track used in anyway that could help reach out and gain more awareness.

I sat down for 2 days thinking about this track and how to go about putting my mark on it, as there was so many beautiful versions and styles of this theme, I felt it was time to rock out a bit with it. my aim was to reach the rock/pop audiences young and old I hope that I achieved that.

I was over the moon with the reaction from others that have recorded versions of this track and who are already deeply involved in the organisation.

If just one child benefits from your kind donation for this track, then I would be eternally grateful, But ! if many children benefit from it then I know that I did something right in my life by giving this track to the world.

My meeting with Pawo, was a chance meeting, I'm glad that meeting happened, his heart opened my heart to help in what little way that I could.

Thank you Pawo, I enjoyed doing this track and I hope that others will enjoy it and benefit from it.
