International help

It has always been the intention of the Gesar Foundation, to do whatever we can to help children, no matter where they may be in the world. With this in mind we welcomed the idea of Stephen Odd to compile a list of authentic charities, recognized by their government from whichever country they operate. This means any person can come to the Gesar web site and find trustworthy details for assistance in whichever country they may be..

I know Stephen has put a lot of work into checking whether our listings are legal, government recognized and therefore authentic. The list will continually grow until we have details from every nook and cranny across the globe. Among these listings are organizations that Gesar have had ties with, along with links to web sites of individuals who enhance the work of Gesar, such as sqnsolutions and Tim Fitzhigham.

 

Always bear in mind 

It is very useful to know who can be called upon in a moment of crisis and it is wonderful to be in a position to support those who selflessly help others but in the end it is our human duty to put organized charity out of business so to speak. We do this by quite simply developing our individual levels of mindfulness and living up to our expectations of others and how we may behave.

 

Potential

The potential is most definitely there, for all on earth to be free of threat from any level of torment. We must, it is essential, for us not only to believe in this but to actively strive peacefully with tolerance and purpose to bring this about. 

 

In a way 

I look at the list Stephen has compiled to date and can only imagine, with a sense of horror, how long it has the potential to grow. How shameful it is that our world suffers so. How can it be that our children are left often to drown in hopeless despair. Assist the Gesar Foundation, display your true human friendship through a happy smile and let us between us end this farce that can only be a result of the world being in a state of sleepiness.

Stephen Odd is a dear friend to Pawo. They first met when Stephen offered accommodation to Pawo in Luton. Stephen now does whatever he can to represent Gesar in Bedfordshire and where ever he can.
